I heart Craigslist
I just bought a Nintendo DS with Mario Kart and two GBA games off Craigslist for $50. The guy brought it to my job and it works great. I love Craigslist. You can get some great deals on there.
So umm Sarah

So I heard last week that Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel broke up. So uh Sarah, are you interested in a blogger who absoluely adores you and has all your shows, dvds, and cds? If you are, send me a message. I'll be waiting.

My political beliefs
I've been sent a few emails asking my political beliefs. Well without further adieu, here they are. If I left out any issues, feel free to email them to me and I'll be glad to cover them. One thing you'll find in common with a lot of my beliefs is that I feel that the United States Government has overstepped it's boundaries on it's citizens on many occasions. I feel that the government's primary role is to govern, not control it's citizens through silly laws and spy on them with the latest technology. The US Government of today is much like some of it citizens, overweight, bloated, and lazy. I am much in favor of a smaller leaner government with more control returned to the states.
On the War in Iraq
Mr. Bush got us into this mess and it's up to Congress to get us out. Much like the rest of America (and Congress for that matter) I was hoodwinked by Dubya into believing that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction. It's time for us to leave Iraq and move those troops into Afghanistan to fight the real people behind 9-11. I support the men and women in the United States Military unconditionally, but it's time for us to leave Iraq. This war was a sham on the American people from the beginning and it's time for the sham to stop and it's high time that Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeldt, Rice, Colin Powell, and everyone else from this corrupt administration were put up for court martial for lying to the American people.
Gas Prices
I fully believe that Congress could put a clamp on the high price of gas in this country if the gas and oil corporations weren't putting money back in the pockets of Represenatives and Senators. It's high time that we got a list of political contributions from these gas and oil companies and throw every single sorry motherfucker out who is accepting contributions from the gas and oil corporations. It's hard to stop someone who's putting money in your pockets.
The War on Terror
The war on terror in this country has now become a war on every single citizen. Since the tragedy of 9-11 happened, a majority of Americans have been more than happy to bend over for Congress and the President to fuck them in their asses. We've lost more freedoms thanks to the Patriot Act than at any time in the history of our country. I find it appalling that the Patriot Act was bullied on the American people in the name of "the war on terror". To Quote Michael Franti and Spearhead, "The War on Terror is a war on peace."
On Abortion
To me it's not the government's right to tell anyone over the age of 18 what they can do with their body. What business does the government have telling a woman what to do with her body? Plus, I feel that as a man, the only time I should worry about abortion or concern myself with it is if I suddenly have the ability to get pregnant.
On Gun Control
Again, it's not the government's business to tell someone whether they can own a firearm or not. It's a right guaranteed with NO restrictions in the Second Amendment. I do agree with convicted felons not being able to own firearms. I don't understand why anyone short of the US Military needs assault rifles, but that's just me. I don't even think Police Officers need assault weapons. I think Gun control should be toned down in this country and I am for less restrictions within reason.
On the Legalization of Marijuana and Moonshine
I firmly believe that if the government were to figure out some way to tax the everloving shit out of marijuana and moonshine the same way they tax tobacco and alcohol, then both would be legalized. Marijuana is no more dangerous than alcohol and is more of a nuisance than anything else. Think of how many people are in jails right now for doing nothing more than smoking weed and brewing up homemade shine. Think of how much time local police officers waste pursuing people peddling weed and shine instead of focusing on real crime. I support the legalization of marijuana and feel that it should operate much in the same way alcohol does. No one under 21 should be allowed to use and if caught driving while under the influence of marijuana, there should be the same penalties used in DUI cases.
I'll continue tomorrow with my views on more issues. I just wanted to break it up into two posts so it wouldn't be as long of a read.
Upcoming stuff
It's a typical Monday morning here on Shrewsbury Drive. Bubba isn't feeling so hot. He's been puking so I may have to take him to the vet later today or tomorrow morning.
Expect a full review of the PSP version of NCAA Football 09 sometime this week over at WNR. I'll offer up a mini review here and say that it's pretty good short of one major problem.
I hope you enjoyed the picture post from Saturday. Remember I may be 34, but I'll be in high school forever I suppose or at least at that maturity level.
Today marks the 15th anniversary since I passed out at work and had a grand mal seizure. The grand mal seizure led to the discovery of a malignant brain tumor and thank God I've been cancer free for almost 15 years now. 15 years ago today, I thought my life might be over, but it turned out it was just beginning.
I've gotten a few emails asking what my political beliefs are, so I'll lay them out in a post later today. As I've said before, once I became a Libertarian there's no going back to the old dull boring two party ways.
It's been a while since we've gotten a Kidd Chris update anywhere. I hope we're closer to hearing them again. I miss the show and all the fellas. I listen to Stern in bits and pieces now since I've been so busy.
Well have a good one folks and I'll post later on. Thanks for reading as per usual.

3 Random Pictures
Note the Cigarette in his mouth
One of my favorite tunnels as well :)
Just a Random Picture I thought was funny.
Sorry
Sorry for the lack of blogging here lately. Life has taken a toll over blogging. I'll be back in a day or two with all new stuff. I've been playing way too much MLB The Show and NCAA09 on my PSP.

More political stuff
This is a post I wrote over at WNR in the election thread and I liked it so much I blogged it.
The funniest thing to me about Obama is what a "messianic" following he's gathered over the last few months. No matter what comes out about him, it just seems to reflect off of him. He's more than a bit "teflon". I'm no McCain fan either, but instead of sitting with his thumb up his ass as he's done since he got the nomination, he needs to go on the offensive about some of this stuff. If I were McCain, I'd be running commercials about that nutty ass fucking kook who was Obama's pastor, his friends with less than honorable connections, and his wishy washy stance on Iraq, but instead McCain just sits there like a fucking knot on a log. I personally feel that neither of them are worth a fucking shit and neither of them can help the country, but it sure is fun to watch stupid ass Democrats and stupid ass Republicans go at it tooth and nail. I frankly feel that the war in Iraq is firmly Bush's fault, but the democrats helped fuck up the economy just as much as the Republicans did. The Democrats are as much to blame for oil prices, a recession, and high unemployment as the Republicans are, but they sure aren't painting it that way. If you listen to the Democrats, it's the republicans' fault that gas is now over 4 bucks a gallon, the economy is shit, and frankly everything else in the world is the Republican party's fault as well. Goddamn finger pointing hasn't gotten us anywhere in the last 8 years and it sure isn't gonna help now.
As I've said before, it's time for a 3rd party to step forward and end this two party bullshit that is taking place in America. Face it folks, the Democrats or Republicans don't give a fuck about you. All they care about is fingering the asshole of their special interest groups and lining their pockets. I feel that Obama will be elected and I feel that we'll have at the very least 4 more years of bullshit. Gas will be 8 bucks a gallon once that damn fool leaves office and we'll still be in a recession. Obama isn't the answer folks and neither is McCain. It's time for a 3rd party to shake the fucking foundations of the status quo in Washington and I don't give a damn if it's Barr and the Libertarians or Nader and the Green Party. Americans are tired of this bullshit and it's high time more of us started voting for what we believe in instead of voting for the lesser of two evils.
Do you truly think that Washington, Jefferson, and Adams envisioned a voting process where both of the candidates are hated, and the American public votes for the one we hate less? I don't think so. It's time for politicians to quit worrying about abortion, satellite radio mergers, gay marriage, and start worrying about our shitty economy, the price of gas, the housing crisis, and the other major issues facing the common folks in this country. Get us the fuck out of Iraq and let's take care of the people who were responsible in Afghanistan for 9-11. I'm tired of laying down for a fucking from the political electorial system in this country. We haven't had a president that's worth a fucking damn in years and it's not gonna change now. I'm just so hopelessly frustrated as an American. This system is not what our founding fathers envisioned.
60 Days
It's now been two months without Kidd Chris. I certainly hope Chris and the fellas come back soon.

Tuesday
I'm so tired of work at the present time and I'm so ready for a week off.
I got NCAA for the PSP today and it's pretty good. I'm skipping the PS3 version for now since I really play my PSP 10x more than my PS3. I'm just more into handheld gaming now than using my PS3 since it's so much quicker and easier. I'm not sure that I'm ready to swear off gaming on a bigger console forever, but I'm getting close. I've been playing seasons of FIFA, MLB08, and Hot Shots on my PSP while my PS3 is gathering dust.
As for things on the personal front, Ole Dave couldn't be doing any better. I honestly cannot remember a time in my life when I've been happier personally. Now if I can just get this job shit straight, my life could very well be perfect.
Well that's all for now, as always thanks for reading.

Thursday
Again sorry for the lack of posts in the last few days. Work is kicking my ass and it's not getting any better. The bitch who's been out for a while isn't coming back for a while longer so fuck her. I wish I could lay out of fucking work for 3 months with depression.
I was walking thru the parking lot at Burger King today and a man came up to me and offered to sell me an IPOD for 50 bucks. It was one of the newer 8 gig Nanos and it worked great, so I gave him 40 for it. $200 Ipod for $40 bucks is a good deal no matter how you slice it. It may be hot and it may be that he just needed a fix. This is when drug usage helps others out. I hope he's as happy with how he spent his 40 bucks as I am. I got another PSP in much the same way a few months ago. I gave a guy 70 bucks for one of the new slim ones and turned around and sold it on Craigslist for 120. I may do the same with this Ipod or I may keep it. I just don't know yet.
Another big shoutout to the Little Guy. He's a good little fella and funny as well. He's reading this as I type since someone has the bird flu or some shit and he has to fill in. Fucking filling in for someone else sucks. I want a fucking job where it doesn't matter if someone calls in.
Here's the last song I listened to (lyrics wise)
Creep Lyrics
Artist(Band):Radiohead
When you were here before,
Couldn't look you in the eye
You're just like an angel,
Your skin makes me cry
You float like a feather
In a beautiful world
I wish I was special
You're so very special
But I'm a creep,
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here
I don't care if it hurts,
I wanna have control
I want a perfect body
I want a perfect soul
I want you to notice
when I'm not around
You're so very special
I wish I was special
But I'm a creep
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here, ohhhh, ohhhh
She's running out the door
She's running out
She run run run run...
run...
Whatever makes you happy
Whatever you want
You're so very special
I wish I was special
But I'm a creep,
I'm a weirdo
What the hell am I doin' here?
I don't belong here
I don't belong here...
Well that's all for now. Mama don't let your babies grow up to be in television. Thanks for reading as always.

Lack of posts
Sorry I've been working quite a lot the last few days and haven't really had much of a chance to blog.
Well that certain team on the north side of a city in Illinois made a big trade yesterday getting Gaudin and Rich Harden for Eric Patterson, Sean Gallagher, Matt Murton and a double AA catcher. I'm pleased with the trade and feel it was a good reactionary move to the Brewers getting Sabathia. I'd still have rather had Sabathia, but oh well. By the way, given their luck this season, I'm still not mentioning this team by name.
Well well well, Michael Vick is declaring bankruptcy. It couldn't have happened to a bigger piece of shit. I still would love it if he got taken care of in prison for what he did to those dogs. Michael Vick is one of the lowest forms of human beings in the world and I hope the piece of shit loses everything and never gets to play again in the NFL or otherwise. I haven't blogged on Mike Vick in a while, but the feeling is still the same.
We got into a discussion at work last night about whether you'd rather have Yoda or Darth Vader in Soul Calibur. I was the lone dissenting voice for Vader as everyone else went with Yoda. I just don't get it. Darth Vader is a bad motherfucker and wouldn't have died at the end of Jedi had it not been for the bad dose of force lightning from Emperor Palpatine. Yoda was always a chickenshit in my eyes since he ran off to Dagobah instead of facing Vader, and then he died before he got the chance to get his revenge on Vader. Granted he was badass against Dooku and in the first three movies was good as well, but I'd still rather have Vader.
Well that's all for now. Have a good one folks and thanks for reading.

Changing the blog around a bit
I'm working on some new stuff for the blog (layouts, banners, etc) Just bear with me.
Libertarian Stuff
I've added a link on the right side to Bob Barr's website. I'm a Libertarian and Barr is my candidate and I feel that he did very well on This Week this morning. If I can find a link to the video, I'll post it later.
Edited to add a link to Bobb Barr's website.
Bob Barr 2008
If you've grown sick of "two party" bullshit politics in America, click the link above. It's time for Americans to make a stand, take back our country and take back our personal freedoms which Emperor Bush and the Democrats have taken away from us in the name of terrorism. We've lost more freedoms since September 11th than ever in the past. Face it folks, neither the Democratic or the Republican party cares about you or your issues. I invite you to take a look at the Libertarian Party and see where we stand as a party.
More Sunday thoughts
All right I'm bored. So just a few random observations
While watching an infomercial this morning at work, an old saying came up that's always bothered me just a bit. Valerie Bertinelli said her skin was "as smooth as a baby's bottom". Just how smooth is a baby's bottom? I haven't the slightest idea at all since I don't have a child. How did the first person figure this out? Were they changing a diaper and said "Wow that's really smooth". Did they take comparisons by touching baby ass and then their face. Frankly it's a bit disturbing to me. I don't want my skin to be as smooth as a baby's bottom. I don't want my face to be compared to a baby's ass at all, but perhaps that's just me. I sent a friend of mine this same question this morning and this was her response.
She's a sell out... don't believe anything she says. She'd say her
face was as smooth as a monkey's ass if you paid her. Bitch. I hate
her. I always liked Julie better.
Babies bottoms are traditionally very soft and "fat" and smooth. kind
of like her face. Big and round. After years of sitting on it,
ass-skin tends to toughen up, i'm surprised some of us don't have ass
callouses.
It makes sense to me. Man do I love a woman with a sense of humor as crass as mine.
I relistened to most of The History of Howard Stern this week and it's amazing to me how tame Howard was before he went to Washington. He was almost corporate and the switch was flipped in Washington. I'm glad the switch did get flipped and he became that wild and crazy guy he is now. I'm sure that most of you have heard by now that Artie's USO Tour was interrupted by Mortar Fire in Afghanistan and they took the whole crew to an underground bunker till the attack subsided. I'd have paid good money to have seen Artie running. Pure Poetry in motion baby. It's a shame we have to wait a whole week before we hear about it. There was an article on Orbitcast this week about what happens to Howard's contract once the merger goes thru. If Howard goes away, I'll cancel my sub immediately unless Kidd Chris is on the service. I only listen to Howard and Footy on Sirius. No music for me, no Bubba the Dumb Sponge, or anything else. Sirius is as good as gone at my house if Howard leaves.
I blogged about Viigo last week and I'm still in love with it. It's become my new morning paper. I put all the sites I check daily in the program and it sends me the headlines. It's truly one of the easiest programs I've ever used in my life. Can anyone recommend a desktop type program which does the same thing?
I'm out.
Sunday Thoughts
I'm on the morning shift again today which means that I'm blogging early. I detest the morning shift with a passion. There's just nothing natural about getting up at 4am, nothing at all. Even my kitties don't like being woke up at 4am to be fed. I'm done with it for well over a week after this morning though thankfully.
First of all a shoutout to Suds, a reader from San Antonio, TX. She's a big Kidd Chris fan. I appreciate every single one of my readers, so a big hello to her. If you're on myspace or Facebook, there are links to my Facebook and Myspace on the right. Feel free to send me a friend request.
July is a great month for sports gamers. I'll be picking up NCAA for both the PS3 and the PSP. Both are out the 16th and I'm really excited for both of them. I just hope there is some sort of franchise swapping out for the PSP and PS3 versions. I'm kind of doubting there is, but if not, I'll play both equally. I've almost given up getting a 360 until Gears 2 comes out because I really wouldn't play it until then.
I've been blogging for 9 months now and haven't lost interest yet, so I'd say that's a good sign. Well that's all for now. Have a good one folks. If I feel like it, I'll throw something up later in the day. As always, thanks for reading.

50 Days
We've now gone 50 days without the thrill, the color, the pagentry that is the Kidd Chris Show. I'm glad we at least got to hear him earlier in the week, but I'm a bit greedy. I want to hear Nogg, Thomas, Rock Hard, Connie, Cheeseburger, Spaz, and Lurch again as well. I want to hear East Coast Bob and the Cream Team, and Bob Levy as well. I certainly hope that we'll hear something soon. I miss the show and it's still hard to believe it's gone. I just hope it comes back in a more "unfiltered" environment. As per usual with the anniversary posts, F CBS RADIO and F WYSP.
The Medal
I had the privelege of watching a show entitled "The Medal" at the television station I work for which was about the Congressional Medal of Honor and it's recipients. The show goes in depth on some of the winners of the medal of honor as well as the heroics that helped them achieve the single greatest honor in the United States. The show was humbing, inspiring, sad, and glorious all at the same time. If you have any interest at all in seeing the series, check your local listings or click on this site for the DVD version. It was one of the best shows I've seen in quite some time. I'd also like this opportunity to say thanks to my Grandpa, my dad, and every other man and woman who has served in this country's armed forces. Spiderman, Superman, and Batman aren't heroes, these folks truly are and I'd like to give a big thank you to you all.

Happy Birthday America
Happy Birthday America, you don't look a day over 232 years old. As you go to your picnics, fireworks, or whatever you're doing today, please take a moment to remember our founding fathers, and have a burger or hotdog for Dave, since I'm working all day long.
